Polyurethane cationomers containing fluorinated soft segments with hydrophobic properties

Abstract The synthesis of ecological waterborne polyurethane cationomers containing fluorinated polyol (0–20 wt.%) was successfully performed. FTIR and NMR analysis results confirmed the structure obtained incorporation component into chains. Average molar mass phase PU thin films were determined based on GPC, FTIR, WAXD SEM-EDX results. have linear structures with clearly visible microphase separation soft hard segment domains; presence changes strength hydrogen bonds in consequence degree separation. activation energy glass transition calculated multi-frequency DSC data. It has been shown that segments cationomer strongly influences hydrophobic, thermal mechanical properties films.
